The hard drive went completely dead I cannot retrieve anything off if it doesn't even spin. I got a new hard drive but I have one problem I cannot locate my recovery disc I have been looking for it for several days now but no luck now I do have a Windows 7 64bit installation disc but I don't want to do it that way I want to get back the Recovery Partition AlienRespawn I want to set it back to like new original factory state can anyone out there with the same m17x R3 please pm me if you can help me. OK, Respawn will AFAIK create the recovery partition on the same disk that your OS is installed on. If that is something you really want to do you need to uninstall Respawn and reboot. Then launch the respawn installer and let it run until it is finished.it will only create the recovery partition on the FIRST run. If I were you I would save the space on my ssd and do as Tommy suggested. Run windows back up and create a system image on one the HDDs in its own partition.

Booting back up, Start-up repair discovered that I have didn't have a OS Loader, and when I put in my Alienware X51 System Recovery disc, It would get to half a bar, and then I'd get the error code: 0xc0000e9 Which, means a failure of connection to the hard-drive from what I've heard so far. So, I opened my Alienware X51, and put that Hard-Drive in one of my old computers, in which I was able to boot the disc, and I deleted all the partitions (Since nothing was working.) and installed Windows 7 on that Hard Drive, but the two computers are completely dissimilar. Now, when I boot my computer it flashes a BSOD with a very long code, and now I get the start-up repair error 'Bad Drivers.' I'm running AO3, f.y.I. OEM laptops usually have a recovery partition on the hard drive that allows you to rebuild the laptop to its factory default setting. If it doesn't work then you still have the original HD to fall back on which you could image and restore. Check back in this thread if you do try the restore image, I'm curious how well it works. I might replace the HD someday as well, the 5400RPM drive in the thing is really the only bottleneck. An SSD would really open the thing up, I just can't justify spending even more money on it at this point though.
